Initial Home Visit

Establishing care — $225

  • I come to your home and listen to your goals & concerns.

  • I assess a full history of both parent and baby.

  • I assess a nursing, pumping and/or alternative feeding session.

  • I assess baby’s oral function, weight, and overall feeding function

    • I bring a scale, weigh baby and can assess milk transfer

  • I assess mom (ie breast exam, pump fitting)

  • I offer tailored education, support and expert suggestions

  • I create a plan of care with you to help you meet your lactation goals.

  • 2 weeks of texting support is included to help implement our plan.

Visits are about a 1.5-2 hours

Follow-Up Home Visit

For Established Clients — $175

  • Often a lactation/feeding challenge cannot be resolved in one visit.

  • Sometimes a new feeding challenge or milestone pops up down the road. (ie bottle refusal, mastitis etc.)

  • Provided in home

  • Review of recent lactation history

  • Targeted assessment based on current problem

  • Tailored education, support and expert suggestions

  • Updated care plan

  • 2 weeks of text support to implement new plan

visits are about 1 hour

Prenatal Visits

1-on-1 Virtual Visit — $150

Start Breastfeeding with confidence!

  • Visits 1.5 hours and are formatted in a variety of ways to meet your goals

    • Starting from zero?

      • A formal breastfeeding basics course is taught

      • Review medical & prenatal history, and breastfeeding concerns & goals

    • Have some basic knowledge?

      • Abbreviated and targeted class taught

      • More time to address your medical/prenatal history, past lactation history, concerns and goals.

    • Already breastfed a baby? And ready to do things different?

      • In-depth time spent reviewing & debriefing medical & prenatal history and past lactation history

      • Lots of time to talk through fears, concerns and goals

Walk away with an individualized care plan to prepare you for some of the most common challenges!

Visits for Infants & Older Babies

  • Get help at any time

    • Mastitis, nipple pain, clogged ducts

    • Nursing Strikes

    • Bottle Refusal

    • Going back to work

    • Pumping

    • Starting Solids

    • Weaning

    • Etc.

Virtual Visits

$100 for 1 hour

  • Virtual visits can be done for milestones in the feeding journey

    • Back to work planning

    • Solids

    • Weaning

  • For Established Clients: If we are actively working on a problem together, a virtual visit may be indicated to check-in more in-depth than texting can provide. Prorated if less time is spent.

  • Established clients who have new acute issues (bottle refusal, mastitis etc. ) may benefit from virtual consults
